Welcome to My Blog

After more than two decades in software engineering, I've decided it's time to share some of the knowledge and insights I've gathered along the way. This blog will serve as a platform to discuss software architecture, cloud technologies, and the lessons I've learned from my journey through the ever-evolving tech landscape.

My Journey

My career in software development began in 2000 when I co-founded AXIS Software Pvt Ltd in Pune, India. Since then, I've had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects—from biometric authentication systems to large-scale financial platforms serving hundreds of banks.

Key Milestones

  • 2000-2004: Started in biometrics and encryption, developing fingerprint matching algorithms
  • 2005-2007: Co-founded Condor Networks, building authentication systems for telecom
  • 2007-2010: Joined Infosys, leading Web 2.0 transformations for Dow Jones
  • 2010-2023: Deep dive into Fintech at Wells Fargo, Synechron, and Moody's Analytics
  • 2023-Present: Application Architect at Axos Bank, driving digital banking innovation

What You'll Find Here

This blog will cover topics that I'm passionate about:

1. Software Architecture

From microservices to monoliths, domain-driven design to event sourcing—I'll share patterns and anti-patterns I've encountered in real-world systems.

2. Cloud Technologies

Having worked extensively with AWS, Azure, and GCP, I'll provide practical insights on cloud architecture, including:

  • Serverless patterns
  • Container orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Cost optimization strategies
  • Multi-cloud considerations

3. Data Engineering

My recent work with Apache Airflow and data pipelines has given me valuable experience in building robust data systems. Expect posts on:

  • Building reliable data pipelines
  • ETL best practices
  • Data lake architectures

4. Engineering Leadership

Leading technical teams across different organizations has taught me invaluable lessons about:

  • Technical decision-making
  • Mentoring developers
  • Balancing technical debt with delivery

5. Career Insights

From GATE preparation to AWS certifications, I'll share advice for engineers at all stages of their careers.

Why Now?

The software industry is at an exciting inflection point. With the rise of AI, cloud-native architectures, and new paradigms in software development, there's never been a better time to share and learn from each other.

I believe in the power of community knowledge-sharing. The tech world has given me so much, and this blog is my way of giving back.

Let's Connect

I'd love to hear from you! Whether you have questions about architecture decisions, want to discuss a technical challenge, or just want to connect:

Stay tuned for more posts, and thank you for joining me on this journey!
